So over the past two months of regular 2 hour trips to and from the airport I’ve discovered I’m a disgusting human being and I need to make a regular habit of cleaning my car better. However, I’m also a bit of a lazy person and I don’t like going and getting out the shopvac because it’s a pain in the ass to deal with. So what I was hoping maybe some fellow Oppo readers might have some suggestions of a small handheld vacuum cleaner I could keep in the car or near by that would be good for cleaning out my car regularly. I’d definitely need something with a hose attachment or something that’ll reach into tight spots. It’d also have to be able to handle sand because I live at the beach. I’m hoping I could find something decent in the $50-$100 range. Thank you fellow readers for reading and any input you can provide!

I have one of these. I bought on Amazon for like $25-30. Plugs into the 12v outlet in the car. Not very strong suction but it does a decent job. Just doesn’t pick up big stuff like rocks, coins, etc.

If you want a proper wired one that is strong and can actually get in between crevices get this one: http://www.amazon.com/ArmorAll-AA255…

I was actually just looking at this model here which looks to be fairly similar. I worry being powered off the cigarette lighter port means it wouldn’t have enough suction though.

That's gonna leave a mark!

I have a little vac called The Shark.Has a strap that you use to sling it over your shoulder. Weighs nothing but has long and very tiny hose ends that get into every crack and works like a charm. Bought it at a church rummage sale for $3. Sorry.

no problem, it uses a real outlet not a cigarette outlet though just in case it wasn’t clear.

They do make a little 1.5 gallon 2HP shopvac, I have one, it’s pretty handy. Even has a handle on it so you can carry it with you while you vacuum. About the size of... uh... 1.5 gallons of milk I guess.
